North Shore type riding has become an integral part of the mountain bike camp. In Racine, where the camp is located, we have all sorts of bridges, balance beams, drops and jumps. The North Shore section of Dirt Camp is a training ground for balance, sight training, focus and strength.
The terrain starts very easy. The north shore bridges are wide and level. They turn to the right and to the left, rise and descend. As the riders gains confidence, he or she can attempt more difficult bridges, higher drops and more complicated moves.
